Concerned about Ohio River Contaminations?
February 3rd, 2023, a 100 car train derailed into the Ohio River. It contained several toxic substances. One of which, Vinyl chloride – a volatile organic compound, or VOC, and the most toxic chemical involved in the derailment – is known to cause cancer, attacking the liver, and can also affect the brain. The chemicals are inorganic in nature and cannot easily be removed. Specific filtration is required and ABSOLUTELY is recommended for anyone in the Greater Cincinnati area. The city CANNOT filter these substances out, so please refrain from drinking water that is not either bottled without Ohio River water OR use a home reverse osmosis system for all drinking, cooking, or any other method of ingesting. Our reverse osmosis systems will remove all organic and inorganic materials from the water.

All surrounding areas are increasing their chlorine usage to help treat the water. We recommend whole house carbon filters to remove the excess of chlorine.

How to Identify Hard Water
Hard Water is a result of minerals that reside in your water supply. The primary minerals that cause issues are calcium and magnesium. These minerals leave their mark in the form of a stain. Do you ever wonder why your toilet has a pink ring around the water level? Have you ever noticed that your glasses have water spots all over them after going through the dishwasher? Not only do these minerals cause problems on your dishes, but they also cause a huge problem to your wallet.
